What we store

To keep your records on your account and available after you reinstall the app, the following is stored in Google Firebase:

• your email address and an account identifier;
• the expenses you enter: amount, currency, category, date and the comment you add, if any;
• the limits you set and the categories and currencies you choose;
• the date your account was created, and whether your email has been confirmed.

Your password is never visible to us. It is handled by Firebase Authentication and stored only in its hashed form.

What stays on your phone

These never leave the device: the theme and design you picked, the interface language, whether the coin sound is on, and a cached copy of exchange rates.

Who else is involved

• Google Firebase stores your account and your records, and sends you account emails such as address confirmation and password reset. See the Firebase privacy documentation.
• open.er-api.com provides daily exchange rates. The app asks it only for the rate table. Nothing about you or your spending is sent with that request.

There is no one else. No advertising networks, no analytics services, no data brokers.

Why we store it

Only to run the app: to sign you in, to show your own records back to you on any device, and to send the account emails above. We do not use your data for anything else.

Deleting everything

Open Settings → Profile → Delete profile. This erases your account together with every expense, limit and setting it holds, both in the cloud and on the device. It is immediate and cannot be undone.

You can also write to us and we will delete it for you.

Children

Centa is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
